Terms of Use for ReinShots Studio

Welcome to ReinShots Studio. By accessing our website, installing our Progressive Web Application (PWA), or using the ReinShots Studio software (collectively, "the App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use ("Terms").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you do not have permission to access or use the App.

2. License Grant

ReinShots grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access, install, and use the App on your devices solely for your personal and commercial design workflows in accordance with these Terms.

3. Pro License (One-Time Purchase)

ReinShots Studio offers a paid "Pro License" via a one-time purchase.

Merchant of Record: All purchases are processed and billed by our authorized merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Payment processing, invoices, consumer revocation rights (Widerrufsrecht), and transaction terms are subject to Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms.
Perpetual Access: "Perpetual" refers to your right to continue using the purchased version of the offline application indefinitely without recurring SaaS subscription fees.
Updates & Maintenance: We provide bug fixes and security updates necessary to maintain software conformity in accordance with statutory requirements. New features or major version upgrades are provided at our sole discretion.
License Restrictions: A Pro license key is intended for use by the purchasing individual or entity. You may not resell, sub-license, publish, or publicly distribute your license key.

4. User-Generated Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content: ReinShots claims zero ownership or copyright over images, screenshots, captions, or mockup designs created using the App. You retain 100% full commercial ownership of all exported assets.
Your Responsibilities: You are solely responsible for ensuring that trademarks, logos, or assets imported into ReinShots Studio comply with third-party copyrights and app store developer guidelines.
Our Intellectual Property: The ReinShots Studio software, layout engines, design assets, branding, and code remain the exclusive intellectual property of ReinShots.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the proprietary algorithms or license verification mechanisms.
Use the App to generate malicious, fraudulent, or illegal app store assets.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices associated with the App.

6. Warranty & Statutory Rights

Statutory Rights: If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistung) under applicable digital content law (§§ 327 et seq. BGB) apply.
Software Operation: While we strive for offline reliability and accurate export dimensions, we do not warrant that the App will function uninterrupted across all third-party browser environments or future operating system changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

ReinShots shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from intent (Vorsatz), gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), or injury to life, body, or health.

For slight negligence (leichte Fahrlässigkeit), ReinShots shall only be liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten)—duties fundamental to the execution of this contract—limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of software agreement. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption is excluded.

8. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Sales Convention (CISG). If you are a consumer in the EU, mandatory statutory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
